Red Hat Christmas Party
Catered by Care Elite, entertainment by "Rusty Ammerman's Dimension of Illusion" from Indianapolis, door awards, gifts and prizes. There will be a $10 gift exchange for those who wish to participate. America In Bloom
You'll learn about America In Bloom, the community beautification project sponsored by the City of Michigan City. We'd like to get your opinions on what projects to include in our 2009 project and what results you'd like to see for Michigan City seniors with the America in Bloom project. "A Wonderful Life"
Theatre At The Center, Munster, IN. Frank Capra’s film classic has been brought to vibrant theatrical life through the remarkable collaboration of Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winner Sheldon Harnick and Grammy and Emmy Award-winner Joe Raposo. The story of George Bailey and his wonderful life in Bedford Falls remains a timeless fable of dreams, disillusionment and the power of love. An uplifting chronicle of the extraordinary lives of ordinary folk. A Wonderful Life exhilarates the mind and heart as it celebrates the innate goodness in us all. Package includes roundtrip motorcoach transportation, lunch and show. Lunch will be a choice of Cornish Game Hen or Pork Chop. Trip departs Senior Center at 10:30am and returns approximately 5:30pm. The Arbors of Michigan City will host a demonstration cooking class on pan cooking, and cooking for one (or two). Do you get tired of left-overs? Is it hard to cook your favorite recipes in smaller quantities? We have some fabulous ideas that require little time or effort and are healthy AND delicious! If you are interested in learning more (and tasting some delicious recipes), please RSVP to Heather or Tanya at 874-5211.
